CBD Shows Promise for Pets — Colorado State University Research

Colorado State University has become one of the centres of veterinary cannabinoid research in the United States, largely through the work of neurologist Dr. Stephanie McGrath. Her studies have looked at how dogs absorb and process cannabidiol, and at how it behaves over a course of treatment.
We link to this research because we think pet owners deserve to read the science rather than marketing copy. We are a farm, not a laboratory, and we do not make medical claims about our products.
What we can tell you is how our oil is made: hemp grown on our own land in Durango, extracted full-spectrum, blended with MCT coconut oil and tested batch by batch. Everything else is a conversation for you and your veterinarian.
Every pet is different. Talk to your veterinarian before starting CBD, especially if your pet takes any medication.
