Farm-Direct CBD, Just Up 550

Farmington sits where the Animas, San Juan and La Plata rivers come together, and the Animas starts its journey past our farm in Durango. Plenty of Farmington families already make the drive north for weekends in the mountains; now your dog's CBD oil can make the same trip in reverse.

Bloodhound Hemp Farms is a small family hemp farm about an hour up Highway 550. We grow our own hemp at high altitude with no pesticides and make full-spectrum CBD oil just for pets. Pick a subtle Bacon or Cheese flavor for picky eaters, or Plain for sensitive pets, and know that every batch has been checked by an independent lab.

Where most Farmington owners start

Farmington is big-dog country, and big dogs change the arithmetic. A 90-pound shepherd working up from a quarter dropper will reach a serving that empties a 600mg bottle quickly, which is why Plain 750mg is the sensible starting point here. Bacon 600mg still has its place as a second bottle for the car, where flavour does more work than strength. If you are running two or three big dogs, it is worth counting droppers for a fortnight before you reorder — most households underestimate by about a third, then find themselves rationing at the end of the month.

Memphis, the bloodhound Bloodhound Hemp Farms is named for

Meet the Farm Behind the Bottle

Bloodhound Hemp Farms is named for Memphis, our family bloodhound, whose stiff joints and restless nights sent us looking for a gentle, natural way to help her — and what we found became this farm. Memphis crossed the rainbow bridge in March 2025 at age 13, and her pack of four keeps us company in the fields today. Owners Cammy Donnen and Jeff Blevans still run the place themselves, and every bottle is made in her honor.

Our Full-Spectrum CBD Oils

Three simple oils, each blended with temperature-stable MCT coconut oil and tested by an independent lab. The dropper lets you adjust the serving to your pet's size.

Made for Farmington Dogs

Fireworks and summer storms

Loud nights are hard on sensitive dogs. Our oils are made to support calm when the noise starts.

River walks and older joints

Walks along the rivers keep dogs active, and full-spectrum CBD helps support comfortable joints as they age.

Big-dog homes

Large breeds need a little more. Our Plain 750mg oil is our strongest, and the dropper makes it easy to adjust the serving.

Calmer vet visits

A serving before appointments can help your dog stay settled in the car and the waiting room.

Big Dogs, Big Hearts

Farmington has plenty of large breeds, from shepherds and labs to working mixes, and big dogs often feel age in their hips and joints sooner. Watch for trouble on stairs, getting into the car or lying down. Those are good moments to check in with your vet about a care plan. Many large-dog owners choose our Plain 750mg oil because it is our strongest, then adjust with the dropper. Start low, go slow and track how your dog feels over a few weeks so you can find the serving that works.

Why Full-Spectrum?

Full-spectrum hemp oil keeps more of the plant together: CBD plus other cannabinoids like CBG and CBC, along with natural terpenes and flavonoids. Working together they create what is known as the entourage effect, so the whole blend supports your pet's balance better than CBD alone. Every animal, from a Great Dane to a house cat, has an endocannabinoid system for CBD to work with, gently and without intoxication. No pesticides, no fillers, non-GMO, third-party lab tested.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Hemp-derived CBD is non-intoxicating. Our full-spectrum oils contain only trace amounts of THC within legal hemp limits, and every batch is tested by an independent lab.

Bacon and Cheese (600mg) have a light flavor most dogs enjoy. Plain (750mg) has no added flavor, is 100% vegan, and is our strongest oil — a good choice for larger dogs or pets with sensitivities.

Each 30ml bottle holds about 30 full 1ml servings. Most dogs start at 0.25–0.5ml per day, so a bottle often lasts longer than a month, depending on your dog's size and serving.

There is no formal multi-pack, but call (970) 444-2752 before you order and we will tell you what is in stock and work out how many bottles a month your pack actually needs.

Many owners do, usually with a meal. Because interactions are a veterinary question rather than a farming one, run the full list past your vet first, especially if any of it is prescribed.

Any of the three, as long as the bottle is not left on a hot dashboard. If it is going to live in the truck through a Farmington summer, take the smaller 600mg bottle and keep the 750mg at home in a cupboard.
