CBD Oil for Dogs in Pagosa Springs

High-altitude, Colorado-grown CBD oil for dogs and cats from our farm an hour west in Durango.

Mountain-Grown Oil for Mountain Dogs

Pagosa Springs dogs live a true mountain life: deep snow in winter, swims in the San Juan River in summer, and plenty of miles on the trail in between. That kind of life is wonderful for a dog, and it can also be hard on them as they get older.

Bloodhound Hemp Farms grows hemp at high altitude on our family farm in Durango, about an hour west on Highway 160. We use natural methods and no pesticides, then make full-spectrum CBD oil that supports calm, comfort and mobility for dogs and cats. Every bottle is independently lab tested, and we pick up the phone ourselves if you have questions.

Where most Pagosa Springs owners start

Winter is the deciding factor in Pagosa. Owners of older dogs who feel the cold in their hips almost always settle on Plain 750mg, because it lets them raise the serving through January without buying twice as often. Younger mountain dogs who just need something before a fireworks night do fine on Cheese 600mg, which is the easiest of the three to hide in a meal.

Memphis, the bloodhound Bloodhound Hemp Farms is named for

Meet the Farm Behind the Bottle

Bloodhound Hemp Farms is named for Memphis, our family bloodhound, whose stiff joints and restless nights sent us looking for a gentle, natural way to help her — and what we found became this farm. Memphis crossed the rainbow bridge in March 2025 at age 13, and her pack of four keeps us company in the fields today. Owners Cammy Donnen and Jeff Blevans still run the place themselves, and every bottle is made in her honor.

Our Full-Spectrum CBD Oils

Three simple oils, each blended with temperature-stable MCT coconut oil and tested by an independent lab. The dropper lets you adjust the serving to your pet's size.

Made for Pagosa Springs Dogs

Long, snowy winters

Cold weather can leave older dogs stiff. A daily serving helps support joint comfort and mobility through the season.

Hikes and river days

Active dogs recover better with good support. Full-spectrum CBD helps promote comfortable recovery after big days out.

Holiday fireworks

When celebrations light up the valley, our oils are made to support calm.

Aging mountain dogs

Senior dogs deserve easy, restful days. Many owners use our oils to support better sleep and everyday comfort.

Winter Care for Mountain Dogs

Snow and ice are hard on paws and joints. Wipe paws after walks to remove ice and road grit, keep nails trimmed for better traction, and give older dogs a warm, padded place to sleep away from drafts. Shorter, more frequent walks are often easier on stiff joints than one long outing. A daily serving of full-spectrum CBD can help support comfort and mobility through the season. Keep your bottle indoors so it does not get too cold, and shake it before each use.

Why Full-Spectrum?

Full-spectrum hemp oil keeps more of the plant together: CBD plus other cannabinoids like CBG and CBC, along with natural terpenes and flavonoids. Working together they create what is known as the entourage effect, so the whole blend supports your pet's balance better than CBD alone. Every animal, from a Great Dane to a house cat, has an endocannabinoid system for CBD to work with, gently and without intoxication. No pesticides, no fillers, non-GMO, third-party lab tested.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. We ship to Pagosa Springs straight from our farm in Durango, about an hour away.

Full-spectrum CBD helps support joint comfort and mobility, which many owners find helpful in winter. Pair it with warm bedding and shorter walks on the coldest days, and check with your vet about ongoing stiffness.

Many owners use our oils daily as part of their pet's routine. Start with a small serving, increase slowly, and talk to your vet — especially if your pet takes medication.

Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place indoors with the cap tight. MCT oil may thicken or look cloudy if it gets cold; let it return to room temperature and shake before use.

Almost certainly not. MCT coconut oil clouds and thickens when it gets cold. Bring the bottle indoors, let it reach room temperature and shake it well before the next serving.

Your order comes west from Durango on Highway 160 rather than over the pass, so eastern closures rarely affect it. Heavy storms can still slow the last mile in mid-winter.
