Bloodhound Hemp Farms started with a dog who was getting old. Memphis, our bloodhound, went from running the stairs, to taking them slowly, to standing at the bottom for a second before deciding. None of those mornings was dramatic. She was simply, gradually, a different dog.

We went round the pet shops in Durango looking for a CBD oil she could take. What we found was hard to dose, hard to give and, frankly, hard to trust — not one label said where the hemp came from. So we did what any stubborn farm family would do: we decided to grow it ourselves.

A farm, not a brand

We grow our own hemp on Rustic Road in Durango, at high altitude, with natural methods and no pesticides. We extract full-spectrum, blend it with MCT coconut oil, and send every batch to an independent lab before it goes in a bottle. The ingredient list is short on purpose.

Memphis crossed the rainbow bridge in March 2025 at age 13. Today her pack keeps us company in the fields, and Cammy Donnen and Jeff Blevans still run the farm themselves. When you call (970) 444-2752, one of us picks up.
